Book Lists, Monthly TBRs

February 2018 TBR

February 2018 TBR

I know I usually do a monthly TBR on the first day of said month, but my blogging life has been a bit messy recently. Not in a way that’s crazy and impossible to maintain, but I’m working on a lot of mini projects for my blog that have been taking up a RIDICULOUS amount of time! It’s all good, though. I’ve got a lot of awesome content heading your way!

Before I begin, I want to wish a happy book birthday to the following books that release today:

Now, let’s get started on my February 2018 TBR!

February 2018 TBR

I had probably the worst reading month in January that I’ve had in a long while, but I don’t think it’s going to get any better in February. Like I mentioned above, a lot of mini projects will be happening hopefully soon. I’m also moving this month so that’s been taking up much of my time as well. After all the chaos is neatly organized in my life, I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled reading!

Therefore, I’m keeping my planned TBR relatively short this month!

As Bright As Heaven by Susan Meissner

As Bright As Heaven

Buy on Amazon
If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll remember I posted this review on Sunday. I’m including it since I technically read it in February. And it was nothing short of amazing! But I’m not surprised. I’ve had amazing luck with Book of the Month since joining, and As Bright As Heaven is just another great book to add to my BOTM collection! It releases TODAY, so I suggest you go preorder it.

Sunburn by Laura Lippman

Sunburn

Buy on Amazon
I wanted to read this in January but time really got away from me. I received Sunburn from the publisher about a month or two ago, and it releases at the end of February. So I’m time-crunching trying to get it read and reviewed before its release date. That shouldn’t be too hard since I’m already a few chapters in as we speak. I’m not far in enough to form an opinion yet, but Lippman’s last novel didn’t disappoint me!

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Night Circus

Buy on Amazon
The Night Circus is another book that I’ve had on previous TBRs. I’ve actually had this book in my possession since October, but I still haven’t read it yet! I don’t like buying books just so they sit on my shelves and never get read, so I’m definitely making the absolute best effort to read The Night Circus for February. Plus, it knocks off a prompt for my POPSUGAR Challenge!

Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton

Next Year in Havana

Buy on Amazon
That cover! Oh my goodness! Next Year In Havana was the chosen book for Salt Water Reads on Instagram, and I’m rarely disappointed by their selections. Plus, we have such awesome book discussions, so I just HAD to preorder this book! It releases today and hopefully it’ll be in my mailbox when I get home!

And I’m leaving my list at that. I know it’s only four books, and I usually do a minimum of six. This way, I give myself time to get done all of the projects I decided to start at one time. I get a chance to organize my stuff and MOVE TO ANOTHER STATE *breathes heavily into paper bag*!! And I won’t be disappointed at the end of the month by all the books I didn’t get a chance to read! Happy Reading everyone!
