Hey everyone! I just wanted to stop in and talk about how…

Earlier this week, I was so excited to get a notification for my 100th follower, and I couldn’t be happier! I’m sure there are so many of you that have so many more followers, but this is a serious achievement for me. I never thought that so many people would be interested in what I have to say, and I’m feeling incredibly thankful that you all are sticking with me on my journey!

100 Followers Thankful

I knew starting a blog was a bit of a risk and that I could fail miserably.

But I’ve been having so much fun writing here. Reading has always been a passion of mine, and being able to discuss topics relating to all things books has been a dream come true! I appreciate each and every one of you reading, and it’s been an honor to have you here.

In the upcoming weeks, I’ll be focusing a lot on shrinking my TBR pile on my nightstand. It’s grown absolutely outrageous since I can’t stop buying books! I’ve got so many great ideas for blog posts and I’m excited to get writing and take a look back at my year of reading. There are so many wonderful books out there that I can’t wait to get to, and it’s sad to think that many of them won’t make it. But I’m confident that I have so many more amazing years with my blog. Growing and expanding A Reader’s Journey is definitely in my future!

I hope that you all stay and keep reading because I have a lot more to say. This has been an exciting journey to be on and I’m loving it every step of the way. Since it’s Thanksgiving weekend, I’m incredibly thankful for everything I’ve accomplished here. Thank you all so, so much! Happy Reading!

  1. Congratulations on reaching 100 followers! That’s fantastic. I am right with you on the celebrating and feeling thankful for everyone in the book blog community. After two years my blog just hit 200 followers. So yay to all of us who have been talking books online together, and hopefully we all just continue to grow and to support one another.

      1. Thanks! I’m just glad to be able to talk about books with other people who enjoy them as much as I do. It seems like any readers around where I live are very casual readers and when I try to talk books they lose interest and their eyes glaze over. I don’t have to worry about that in the book community.

          1. It seems like so many of us are in that position or have that feeling. How is it that there are so many awesome readers out there but they have to all be so spread out? It would be cool to be able to have an in-person book talk club or something.

          2. I know, right? I’m lucky I’ve been able to convince a lot of friends to read some awesome books through my blog, but there’s no one in my life that compares to people in the book blogosphere. Really strange!
