I’ve got 2 books to start this weekend, but which book should I read first???
This past Sunday, I picked up two books I requested from the library. I usually try to minimize my borrowed books to two (I already have one that I’m still working on), but if I didn’t take them out, I would go back on the waiting list for them. And that was NOT happening! So now I have two (and a half?) books to read. I’m currently reading Watch Me Disappear by Janelle Brown. I’m about halfway through the book and I’m LOVING it so far!
I’ll be heading to Wildwood, NJ this weekend for the NJ Fireman’s Convention, which is a great time for me to get in some much-needed beach reading! So now my new problem is which book should I start first?? Here are my two choices:
Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz
This book has been receiving so much buzz on the blogosphere recently, and the fact that I got it rather quickly after requesting it makes me seriously jump for joy!! A novel that pays homage to English crime novels, it’s like a puzzle in book format. And that eerie cover!
Emma in the Night by Wendy Walker
I have read review after review of this novel since it debuted in August, and it took a little less than a month to end up waiting for me on my nightstand! A story of two sisters who disappeared, until three years later one of them shows up with a wild, terrifying story of kidnapping. I can’t wait to dive it!!
So, here’s the dilemma… which one should I crack open first?? Leave me a comment below with your vote. And feel free to let me know if you’ve read either one and your thoughts!
